NIRMM Salute Kicks Off November 2008 Celebration
NIRMM Salute marks the start of another National Inspirational Role Models Month. It will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at The Product Shop (28465 5 Mile Rd., Livonia, MI, 734.525.9995) from 3 – 5 p.m. Planned activities include calligraphy expert presentation, inspirational readings featuring books on the newly-introduced NIRMM Reading List, games plus unique shopping opportunities. There will also be prize raffles, giveaways, displays and light refreshments. Everyone is invited to join in the celebration with contemporary role models, family and friends. National Inspirational Role Models Month is an annual November celebration originated by Detroit native Darlene House in 2005. The theme for 2008 is “Enjoying Beautiful Creations with Inspiring Revelations”. The celebration’s purpose is to acknowledge impact contemporary and historic role models have on our lives. Individuals chosen for recognition may include celebrities, historic figures, relatives, friends, colleagues and associates.
